BUILDING SPECS
 
FRAME: 2" x 2" cold drawn electro-welded structural mechanical steel tubing or specify optional steel tube frame with 2" exterior radius.
 
Advantages: Frameless appearance / Easy replacement pans / Structural integrity.
 
ROOF: Galvanized steel, structurally supported according to size and load requirements. Overhangs and/or fascias of all sizes available.
 
Advantages: Heat reflective / Designed for all weather conditions.
 
WALLS: 16 Ga. cold rolled galvanized steel panels MIG welded between frame and mullions for self-aligning unitized system, creating a structural diaphragm. This construction method (Pan and Post) was introduced into the market by B.I.G.
 
Advantages: Sculptured look / Easy replacement of walls if ever damaged / Weather tight system / Unitized strength.
 
FLOOR: Booths can be set on a concrete pad or specify Steel plate, industrial tiles, Aluminum Diamond plate, Exterior grade plywood, or vinyl tile. All floors will have weather resistant B.I.G. Tru Trak threshold and can be mounted on 1", 2", 3" or 6" Steel Base. All booths include welded engineered Steel Drilled Anchor Plates. All steel floors are covered with our industrial non-skid "Tough Coat" or industrial tile.
 
Advantages: Design flexibility to meet special needs such as handicap. Insulated / Longevity / Handsome appearance.
 
DOORS: All steel structural tube frame with galvanized steel panels with safety glazing. Sliding doors are top suspended on steel no-maintenance ball-bearing rollers in steel track, with high security pocket jamb. Heavy duty hardware, keyed lock, and weather-stripping. Swinging, Dutch, or Bi-fold doors are also available.
 
Advantages: Steel doors are standard on all B.I.G. booths. B.I.G. is exclusive provider of steel rollers and steel tracking systems. Aesthetically pleasing / Super secure / Less maintenance / Easy adjusting.
 
WINDOWS: 16 Ga. galvanized steel window frame system (painted to match booth) with flush mounted corners and welded fastening. Tempered clear safety glass throughout, interior glass stops with heavy duty fasteners.
 
Advantages: Aesthetically superior / Super secure / Less soot or grime buildup / Easy replacement of glass.
 
SHELVING: Heavy duty steel shelves with factory finish. Shelves are rated at 250 lb. plus load. Standard size is 20" deep.
 
ELECTRIC SYSTEM: U.L. approved system, heater, lights wired to N.E.C. standards. Load Center is 125 Amp 120/240 volt, single phase, 3 wire 8 pole flush mounted in sheet metal cabinet for concealing site connections. Duplex outlets and fluorescent lights with single pole wall switch.
 
Advantages: All booths come pre-wired and with our exclusive undercounter cabinet for concealing site connections and ease of installation.
 
HEATER: Fan forced electric heater 1500 watts 5120 BTU with thermostat. Mounted next to load center in sheet metal cabinet. Larger sizes available.
 
Advantages: Flush mounted for longer life / Circulates heat evenly / Manual reset overload protection.
 
FINISHES: Rust inhibitive high build epoxy primer and two part polyurethane finish coat. Superior impact, fade resistant as well as graffiti and chemical resistant. Exceeds 1500 hour salt test and 75 Tabor test.
 
Advantages: 10 standard colors or optional computer color matching system / Graphics, multicolor also available.
 
WEATHER PROOFING: All booths are weather-tight for interior or exterior use. All seams and joints are pressure bonderized. All openings are fully weather stripped. Roofs have heat protective membrane coating. Floor underside is coated.
 
Advantages: Teflon fabric over urethane foam for long life. Easy replacement / Excellent energy and sound efficiency.
 
INSTALLATION: Units are shipped fully assembled, fully wired, fully glazed and thoroughly painted. Position units over electrical stub-up on level pad. Drill and set 4 Expansion type Anchor Bolts. Connect power and seal around edges where the floor base meets the concrete pad, and that's it. Careful attention and coordination of electrical stub-outs will save many man hours.
